Baruch Foodies
Welcome to Baruch Foodies, a blog dedicated to the person with an appetite for food. This blog is aimed to give you a unique perspective of the food scene in New York City. As students at Baruch College, located in the heart of the City, we understand what it’s like to live in the city and be surrounded by great restaurants, great cuisines, and great cultures. We are four authors, each with our own special take on places to eat as well as some homemade dishes for when the wallet or the time is tight. Please look through this blog and feel free to comment and share this blog with your friends and family.

This is definitely a place for you to grab and go. I've been dying to try out this joint for the longest time. Everyone comes here for their takoyaki (octopus balls), which I have to say is not so good. Come here if you're drunk and you want a quick munchy. I came here because I was not satisfied with my first meal so I came here for round 2. You get one little piece of octopus leg in each ball and it's covered with a lot of flour batter and this milky substance inside. Outside, they garnished it with seaweed flakes and some fishy flakes. I ate two balls and made my friend eat the rest.
Pros - Cheap, fast & delicious. Takoyaki ($5) - 8 Octopus Balls. The exterior's soft but chewy in the inside. They keep a small chunk of octopus inside the takoyaki so you can definitely taste the octopus!
Cons - Cash only. Not made to order all the time; You can be getting the one that's been sitting for awhile (which happened to me). My biggest complain's that my takoyaki had too much sauce & condiments on top, it's too overwhelming & heavy. However, depending on the person who makes it, that might change.
