Baruch Foodies
Welcome to Baruch Foodies, a blog dedicated to the person with an appetite for food. This blog is aimed to give you a unique perspective of the food scene in New York City. As students at Baruch College, located in the heart of the City, we understand what it’s like to live in the city and be surrounded by great restaurants, great cuisines, and great cultures. We are four authors, each with our own special take on places to eat as well as some homemade dishes for when the wallet or the time is tight. Please look through this blog and feel free to comment and share this blog with your friends and family.

Mugi Bakery

Mugi Bakery is located in Flushing, right off the Q25, Q34 bus stop. It is a nice place to sit in if you can find a available seat and occassionally has a quiet atmosphere depending on the timing you come in. They have cookies, bread, cakes, and drinks. I would not recommend their individual bread because they tend to be bland, but their Christmas bread (available all year) is good. It is a ring of bread filled with sweets and raisins. I would not recommend their cakes either, but their mousse is something you should try; they have a variety of flavors: chocolate and mango, but I recommend the more exotic ones such as coconut (featured here), blueberry, and papaya.
Their address is here: 4365 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11355
