Baruch Foodies
Welcome to Baruch Foodies, a blog dedicated to the person with an appetite for food. This blog is aimed to give you a unique perspective of the food scene in New York City. As students at Baruch College, located in the heart of the City, we understand what it’s like to live in the city and be surrounded by great restaurants, great cuisines, and great cultures. We are four authors, each with our own special take on places to eat as well as some homemade dishes for when the wallet or the time is tight. Please look through this blog and feel free to comment and share this blog with your friends and family.

Lok Lok

Lok Lok is a great place to eat for lunch or dinner if you are in the mood for Cantonese cuisine. The place can get crowded and service will rush you if that happens, but the food is good and at a reasonable price. Featured is congee, basically rice porridge and a Chinese comfort food. Also featured is steamed rice rolls with mushrooms, fried radish cake, and dumpling lo mein. Congee is only available for breakfast and lunch, so don't expect to order it for dinner. Also, this place opens up really early, so if you need to fill yourself up for a grueling day, you can consider Lok Lok as one of your options. They have no website, but this is their address:
4296 Main St, Flushing, NY 11355
