Spicy Squid Stir-fry

So, I had a package of frozen squid in my freezer that was sitting there for a while and finally decided to do something with it. As a big fan of Korean cuisine, I decided to try my hand at making Ojingeo-bokkeum (오징어볶음) or squid stir-fry. The squid I bought was already cut up and ready to be stir-fried; I believe I bought it for around $6. I followed my favorite korean foodblogger's recipe; she also has a youtube channel, which makes it all the more easy to execute this recipe. However, I did neglect putting carrots, as I forgot to buy it, and put green peppers instead. I also put in some shiitake mushrooms and chives, just because I like them. For this recipe you can add anything you want, because the end result will be delicious regardless. (Hint: I do suggest sticking to the recipe for the 'sauce' as that is what makes the dish.)

You can find the recipe here.

I find that this dish would be best eaten with rice, but I'm sure it would taste just as great with some noodles.
